David Warner : Pressure on Kuldeep Yadav to perform

David Warner has taken a dig at Kuldeep Yadav by stating that even though he appreciates Yadav's confidence, the pressure was still on the Indian to perform. Yadav had said that Warner was under pressure against him, adding that he hoped to keep the status quo for the remainder of the series.
The left-arm chinaman bowler took a shot at Warner prior to the second ODI at the Eden Gardens saying that Warner was under pressure while playing against him. Even though in Kolkata on Thursday, the Australian opener was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yadav bagged a hat-trick, by dismissing Matthew Wade, Ashton Agar, and Pat Cummins on consecutive deliveries to setup a 50-run win for India.
"I like Kuldeep's confidence. Credit to him for the way he bowled (in Kolkata). But the pressure is on him to perform, not me," Warner told India Today.
"You have played two Test matches and nine ODIs - when you are young, you have that confidence. I remember I had that kind of confidence when I was young and probably said things I would not now.
"He has been doing well and he has confidence that is what he brings to the table. But when he speaks like that, he is bringing the pressure on himself."
The 22-year-old young chinaman bowler, earlier on Wednesday, had said that he lays a plan whenever he is bowling to Warner and it he was confident while playing against him. Kuldeep had earlier dismissed Warner in Chennai with a slider which went straight through at the same line with Warner going for a cut but, following an edge, was caught by MS Dhoni behind the stumps.
"I feel good when I bowl to Warner. I set up a plan when I bowl to him. Hopefully, I will get him out on more occasions in the next four ODIs," Yadav said.
