The whole conversation started when Pakistan Super League Champions Islamabad United tweeted a GIF of the famous Jones wicket where Waqar Younis not only bowled the Aussie but also smashed the middle stump into two pieces. The GIF was from a 1993 Australia-Pakistan B&H World Series match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The fast bowlers will be bowling a whole lot of these!!!!

While the video is one of the most recognizable ones in history, it is usually forgotten that Jones had actually scored an impressive 84 off 127 balls to dig out Australia from a hole. Jones took the opportunity to remind the Pakistani pacer that he had actually thrashed the Asian team all over the park before he was dismissed.
Just a reminder this knock cost you 80 runs be fore you got me! 😜
— Dean Jones (@ProfDeano)
Younis wasn't a player who backed down during his playing days and was most certainly not going to ignore the banter. He was quick to point out his indifference towards the number of runs that Jones had scored and just asked him to look at the damage that the ball had done.
Whatever......did you see what happened behind you 😩😜
