And now, while the fans in Thiruvananthapuram are eagerly waiting for the decider of the series on Tuesday, rain threat looms large over the encounter. The met department are expecting windy conditions with steady showers.

The newly built Greenfield International Stadium is ready to host its first international match and the management seemed confident that if the rain interrupts they will resume the game as soon as possible.

"The drainage facilities at the Sports Hub are very good. We have three super-soppers ready. The entire ground can be covered if necessary. Even if it rains during the match, it can be re-started within 15 minutes once the rain stops," Jayesh George, the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) secretary, said as quoted by Cricbuzz.
