WATCH | Virat Kohli dons role of waterboy to talk to team

India fans had a disappointing start to the final Test against Australia as Virat Kohli was forced to miss the decider due to a shoulder injury he suffered in the previous Test in Ranchi. The skipper decided to talk to his players during the drinks break by donning the role of waterboy.

With the series tied 1-1, the Dharamsala Test will decide who will have the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on March 29. Australia hold a slight edge being the holders and need only a draw to retain the trophy.

With the stakes this high, it would be a surprise if Kohli did not try to have an impact on the game. In the sixth over of the match, the ball lost shape, and the umpires decided to change it. During a break in play, the players usually have drinks, and India sent out their waterboy. However, to the surprise of the crowd, it was Virat Kohli who made his way out carrying refreshments for the team. Kohli took the opportunity to speak to his players and appeared to be happy to walk out to the middle.

Ajinkya Rahane is stand-in captain, making him India's 33rd Test skipper.
