WATCH | Jadeja pulls off Dhoniesque 'no-look' runout

There is no doubt about the talent that Ravindra Jadeja possesses with the ball and bat but his performance in the field deserve special praise as well. While the whole country went gaga over MS Dhoni's no-look dismissal of Ross Taylor, Jadeja has done the same against Australia today.

In the 138th over of the match, Jadeja bowled a ball on Steve Smith's pads. The Australian captain diverted the ball wide of short fine leg. With Rahul not being on his toes, Smith decided to risk a double as he was the one running towards the danger end. Rahul's throw was well off the target but somehow Jadeja collected and released the ball in one swift movement, with his back towards the wicket.

The umpire referred the decision to the third umpire, who found Josh Hazelwood just short of his crease. The wicket ensured that Australia finished their first innings with a score of 451 with Steve Smith being stranded on an unbeaten 178.

MS Dhoni pulled off an unbelievable run out in the New Zealand series when he threw the ball behind his back onto the stumps in one seamless motion to dismiss Ross Taylor. It appears Jadeja after watching the former Indian captain up close has picked up a few of his tricks.
