After losing a bet to Sourav Ganguly, Shane Warne will wear an England jersey for a day. Warne challenged Ganguly that he would have to wear an Australian jersey if Australia won their Champions Trophy match against England. Likewise, Warne would wear an England jersey if England won.

Australia vs England was billed as one of the most awaited matches of the Champions Trophy. However, the match meant a lot more to Warne and Ganguly as they had bet on the result of the game. Whoever won the bet, was initially supposed to treat the other to dinner.

But Warne raised the stakes and told Ganguly that would he have to wear an Australian jersey in case Steve Smith's men won the match. Likewise, Warne himself would wear an England jersey, if Eoin Morgan's men came out on top.

As things turned out, Warne lost his bet to Ganguly as England beat Australia by 40 runs and booked their place in the semi-final of the Champions Trophy where they will face Pakistan.

After the match, Warne kept his word and tweeted that he will soon post a picture of him wearing an England jersey.
