Former Pakistan captain Imran Khan was disappointed with the result of India Vs. Pakistan game, which his team lost by a mammoth margin of 124 runs on Sunday. Imran said that it was painful to watch his side painfully surrender to their arch-rivals without putting up a fight.

With the help of a splendid batting display from the top order and some proficient bowling, India registered an easy 124 run win (DL method) over Pakistan in their ICC Champions Trophy 2017 Group B opener at Edgbaston on Sunday. In a rain affected match India scored 319 for 3 in 48 overs and then dismissed Pakistan to 164 off 33.4 overs as the latter chased a revised total of 289 from 41 overs.

Apart from Azhar Ali who scored 50, no Pakistan batsman offered a fight and like most other Pakistani fans, Imran Khan was upset at his team's showing. Khan’s expressed his dismay shortly after India thrashed Pakistan, as he went hit out at the Pakistan cricket setup in a series of tweets.

Finally, the former cricket legend warned that Pakistan cricket needed a complete overhaul in order to be competitive against other teams on the big stage.
