Former Chennai Super Kings stars, MS Dhoni and Matthew Hayden, kicked off the second edition of the TNPL with a six-hitting competition. While Hayden missed out on one of his three shots, Dhoni cashed in on all three producing some mammoth sixes to emerge as the winner of the challenge.

The fans at the MA Chidambaram stadium couldn't have asked for a better start to the second edition of Tamil Nadu Premier League with the ground graced by MS Dhoni and Matthew Hayden.

The two kicked off the tournament taking on each other in the biggest sixes challenge. Matthew Hayden was the first to walk out on the pitch to take on the bowling machine. Even though Hayden failed to connect properly with the first delivery, on his second attempt he sent the ball across the line with a vintage shot over long on. On his last attempt, the powerful Aussie cleared the fence again showcasing his exquisite technique in front of the fans in the Chidambaram Stadium.

Royal Challengers Bangalore star, Pawan Negi, known to be a powerful hitter came onto the crease to try out his skills against the bowling machine. However, the 24-year old failed to connect with the three deliveries that were on offer and had to suffice with it.
