Mahendra Singh Dhoni failed to get good scores in the ongoing Indian Premier League and only made one significant contribution scoring 28 runs against RCB. Before that, he had aggregated a paltry total of 33 runs at an average of 11 from four matches. His form also led to criticisms from certain sections of cricketing fraternity, including Sourav Ganguly, who raised questions over MS Dhoni's T20 batting abilities.
But Warne believes that Dhoni doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone and a wonderful player across all three formats of the game. Calling him a great captain, Warne tweeted, “@msdhoni does not have to prove anything to anyone, he's class & a wonderful player in all formats. MS is also a great captain & inspires !”
