It is a difficult question for anyone to answer – which of the two is better. It is even tougher if you have to take sides between Indian cricket's most successful captains, Sourav Ganguly and Mahendra Singh Dhoni after having played under them. While the former had made India one of the most fearless sides in world cricket, the latter built up a reputation by winning every big trophy that is on offer in the sport.
However, Yuvi was once again asked the question recently in a Radio Mirchi show - Who between Dhoni and Ganguly was the better skipper?
Without much hesitation, Yuvi replied, “I started my career under Sourav and I think he is the one who put this team together and supported players like myself, Ashish (Nehra), (Virender) Sehwag, Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan (Singh). So probably he would be the best captain.”
Yuvraj is currently captaining the India Red side in the Duleep Trophy final.
