A day after NADA gave a clean chit to one Indian athlete – Narsingh Yadav – to allow him to participate in the Olympics, another Indian athlete – Inderjeet Singh’s - Rio dreams look almost over after he failed the B-sample test, reported The second dope test was conducted by NADA after the shot putter failed the A-sample test on June 22. His urine samples were found to have androsterone, etiocholanolone, 5a-androstanediol, and 5b-andtostanediol.
Inderjeet Singh was the first Indian to qualify for Rio and had claimed innocence after he failed the A-sample Test. The 28-year-old, who won bronze in 2014 Asian Games, had won gold medals in the Asian championships, Asian Grand Prix and the World University Games last year.
